Active Energy Group has completed a strategic reset, pivoting from a single biomass fuel business into a diversified renewable energy and digital infrastructure company. The centrepiece is a UAE digital infrastructure operation hosting high-performance computing for artificial intelligence and crypto mining, with a phased pipeline of up to 15.5 megavolt-amperes across four sites. The anchor 8MVA facility at Liwa had pre-sold capacity of about 60% by year-end, offering indicative annualised revenue visibility of $3.5 million to $3.8 million at a targeted gross margin of around 50%. No hosting revenue was booked in 2025, but the Ghummud site was energised in April 2026 and began generating hosting revenue during May. The company also signed its first long-term power purchase agreement, a 25-year deal with Cambridge City Football Club worth £0.83 million, and built a 30 megawatt UK rooftop solar pipeline. The group reported no revenue for the year and a narrowed loss of £1.46 million, with cash of £773,193 at year-end, since supplemented by a £1.14 million placing.
