ZEISS Meditec Selects Nirrin Technologies' Atlas System for Hyaluronic Acid Manufacturing

Carl Zeiss Meditec company Hyaltech has purchased an Atlas system from Nirrin Technologies to modernize hyaluronic acid measurement workflows. The Atlas system uses proprietary High-Precision Tunable Laser Spectroscopy to deliver compositional analysis in under one minute without extensive sample preparation, eliminating the need for offline, labor-intensive methods that rely on hazardous chemicals. Hyaltech manufactures over one million hyaluronic acid-based ophthalmic viscosurgical devices annually and will evaluate the platform for production and quality control. Nirrin Technologies CEO Bryan Hassell said the deployment reflects growing industry interest in faster, more actionable analytical measurements closer to manufacturing.
