Arq, Inc. is an environmental technology company that sells consumable air, water, and soil treatment solutions based on activated carbon in the United States and Canada. Its products include granular activated carbon, powdered activated carbon, and colloidal carbon products, as well as additives for air emissions control. These products are used in applications such as water treatment, ground water remediation, soil sediments, air emissions, and asphalt additives. The company was formerly known as Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. and changed its name to Arq, Inc. in February 2024. Founded in 1997, it is headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Arq reaffirms 2026 revenue guidance of $120M-$125M and targets up to 50% adjusted EBITDA increase

Arq, Inc. reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, expecting revenue between $120 million and $125 million and adjusted EBITDA between $17 million and $20 million. The company introduced a new product line called PAC for PFAS, a powdered activated carbon designed for PFAS removal, which management expects to meaningfully boost performance in 2027 and beyond. For the second quarter, Arq reported revenue of approximately $30 million, gross margin of about 38.5%, and adjusted EBITDA of roughly $5.8 million. Management also disclosed a preliminary cost estimate of $40 million to $60 million for a potential granular activated carbon conversion project but emphasized no investment decision has been made.
