ASIMAR second quarter 2569 profit surges 22.51%

Asian Marine Services Public Company Limited, or ASIMAR, reported second quarter 2569 net profit of 14.86 million baht, up 22.51% from the same period last year, with total revenue of 175.51 million baht. This comprised ship repair revenue of 133.80 million baht, down 6.89%, and shipbuilding revenue of 25.90 million baht, down 73.97%, as the economic slowdown led ship owners to delay maintenance plans and the company recognised revenue from only one tugboat construction project for Sattahip Commercial Port, Royal Thai Navy, during the quarter. The company has a remaining shipbuilding backlog of about 150 million baht and targets 2569 revenue growth of 10% from the previous year, while continuing to bid for government projects.
