Lionsgate Studios jumps 9% after hours on report of takeover interest from Bollore and Banijay

Lionsgate Studios jumped 9% in after-hours trading following a Reuters report that the entertainment company is exploring a sale and has received takeover interest from France's Bollore Group. The studio behind the "Hunger Games" and "John Wick" franchises is working with an investment bank to evaluate inbound interest, though a deal is not certain and Lionsgate may decide to remain independent. Banijay Group, the TV producer behind "Big Brother" and "Survivor," is among other suitors that have evaluated a bid. The valuation sought by shareholders could make it harder for potential buyers to reach an agreement, with previous suitors having stepped away due to price expectations.

Compagnie de l'Odet shareholders approve all resolutions, raise ordinary dividend 9%

Compagnie de l'Odet's Combined General Meeting passed all resolutions with at least 99.8% of votes. The ordinary dividend was raised 9% to 4.80 euros per share, payable June 25, 2026. Directors Marie Bolloré and Olivier Roussel were renewed for three-year terms. The board will meet September 16 to set an exceptional interim dividend of 2 billion to 2.5 billion euros, funded by a 3 billion euro exceptional dividend from Bolloré SE.
