Bogota Financial Corp. Reports Higher Net Income for the Six Months Ended June 30, 2026

Bogota Financial Corp. reported net income of $1.5 million, or $0.12 per share, for the six months ended June 30, 2026, up from $955,000, or $0.08 per share, in the prior-year period. For the second quarter, net income rose to $748,000, or $0.06 per share, compared with $224,000, or $0.02 per share, a year earlier. Total assets decreased 3.3% to $875.0 million, while deposits fell 12.0% to $574.2 million, partly offset by a 51.1% increase in Federal Home Loan Bank advances to $141.0 million. The company also announced an agreement to acquire GSL Bank, which it expects will expand its customer base and lending capacity.
