It operates through three segments: Heavy Fabrications, Gearing, and Industrial Solutions. The Heavy Fabrications segment supplies steel towers and adapters primarily to wind turbine manufacturers, while the Gearing segment provides gearing, gearboxes, and precision machined components, as well as heat treat services, to diverse markets including power generation, oil and gas, mining, and defense. The Industrial Solutions segment offers supply chain solutions, light fabrication, inventory management, and kitting and assembly services for the combined cycle natural gas turbine market. The company was formerly known as Broadwind Energy, Inc. and changed its name to Broadwind, Inc. in May 2020. It is headquartered in Cicero, Illinois.

Broadwind reports 67% revenue jump in Q2 2026, driven by Gearing and Industrial Solutions

Broadwind reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $24.3 million, a 67% increase from the prior year, driven by higher demand in its Gearing and Industrial Solutions segments.
