Coherus and Zumutor Biologics Announce Clinical Collaboration for Phase 1 Trial of ZM008 with LOQTORZI

Coherus Oncology and Zumutor Biologics have entered a clinical collaboration and supply agreement to evaluate ZM008, a novel anti-LLT1 monoclonal antibody, in combination with LOQTORZI, a next-generation PD-1 inhibitor, in a Phase 1 trial. The study, identified as NCT06451497, will enroll up to 45 patients across dose-escalation and expansion cohorts in the United States, targeting colorectal, head and neck, non-small cell lung cancer, clear cell renal cell carcinoma, urothelial cancers, and other solid tumors. Under the agreement, Coherus will supply LOQTORZI while Zumutor sponsors the trial, with each company retaining all commercial rights to their respective compounds. ZM008, discovered using Zumutor's proprietary INABLR platform, has shown a favorable safety profile and clinical benefit in metastatic patients previously treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors in an ongoing monotherapy study. The collaboration aims to expand potential LOQTORZI indications beyond nasopharyngeal carcinoma and strengthen the clinical data package in the U.S. through cost-efficient drug supply agreements.
