Clearfield, Inc. designs, manufactures, and distributes fiber management, protection, and delivery products in the United States and internationally. Its product lines include FieldSmart enclosures, WaveSmart optical components, FiberFlex outdoor cabinets, CraftSmart FiberFirst pedestals, YOURx access terminals, FieldShield fiber pathways, Fiber Assemblies, and the ClearPass Connector Cleaning Dust Cap. The company also offers fiber-to-the-premise, fiber-to-the-business, DC interconnect/campus network, meet-me room, main distribution area, and white space solutions, as well as metro core, backhaul, indoor/outdoor DAS, small cells, and FTT-cell site offerings. It serves national carriers, community broadband providers, multiple system operators, large enterprises, and OEM markets through its sales force and authorized distributors. Formerly known as APA Enterprises, Inc., it changed its name to Clearfield, Inc. in January 2008, was incorporated in 1979, and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
