Community Bancorp Q2 Earnings Rise 15% on Strong Loan Growth
Community Bancorp reported second-quarter net income of $4.7 million, or 84 cents per share, up 15.5% from the prior-year quarter. Net interest income rose 13.7% to $11.2 million, driven by loan growth and higher portfolio yields, while non-interest income increased 12.3% to $2.3 million. The net interest margin expanded to 3.95% from 3.64%, and the efficiency ratio improved to 52.8%. Total assets stood at $1.17 billion, with gross loans up 3.1% and deposits up 5.2% year over year. The provision for credit losses increased to $721,000, reflecting continued loan growth under the CECL framework.
