Trump Media posts $360.6 million digital asset loss in first half
Trump Media & Technology Group recorded total digital asset losses of $360.6 million in the first half of 2026. The decline was driven mainly by falling prices of Bitcoin and Cronos, with unrealized losses on normally held assets of approximately $245.45 million, unrealized losses on collateralized assets of about $7.41 million, reacquisition losses on collateral assets of around $55.55 million, and derecognition losses of roughly $52.24 million. The fair value of digital assets at the end of June fell to about $597.68 million. Second-quarter revenue rose 89 percent year-on-year to approximately $1.67 million, but net loss reached around $238.11 million. The company has terminated several agreements, including a plan to utilize Cronos with Crypto.com, and is shifting its strategy toward marketing partnerships in prediction markets.
