Dauch Corporation designs, engineers, and manufactures driveline and metal forming technologies supporting electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. It operates through the Driveline and Metal Forming segments. The Driveline segment offers axles, driveshafts, differential assemblies, clutch modules, balance shaft systems, disconnecting driveline technology, and electric and hybrid driveline products for light trucks, SUVs, crossovers, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles. The Metal Forming segment supplies engine, transmission, driveline, and safety-critical components for internal combustion and electric vehicle architectures, as well as products for industrial markets. The company operates in North America, Asia, Europe, and South America. It was formerly known as American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Dauch Corporation in January 2026. Founded in 1994, it is headquartered in Detroit, Michigan.

Dauch Corporation Raises Full-Year Guidance After Dowlais Integration

Dauch Corporation lifted its full-year guidance after reporting second-quarter sales of roughly $3 billion, driven by its Dowlais acquisition. Adjusted EBITDA reached $389.6 million, or 13.2% of sales, roughly double the $202 million posted a year earlier, with Dowlais contributing $180 million. The company has banked $70 million in run-rate cost savings and targets $100 million by year-end, $180 million by the end of year two, and $300 million by year three. Full-year sales guidance moved to $10.6 billion to $10.8 billion, adjusted EBITDA to $1.36 billion to $1.425 billion, and adjusted free cash flow to $260 million to $325 million. Net interest expense more than doubled to $82.6 million from $37.5 million, and GAAP net income fell to $1 million from $39.3 million a year earlier, while net debt stood at $4.1 billion, a 2.6x leverage ratio.

Barclays reinstates Dauch Corporation with Equal Weight, $8 target after Dowlais deal

Barclays reinstated coverage of Dauch Corporation with an Equal Weight rating and an $8 price target on June 22, following the Dowlais Group acquisition. The firm believes the deal expands Dauch's offerings but raises concerns about its exposure to China and the European Union. Barclays also noted Dauch's key North American internal combustion engine business and its exposure to General Motors and Ram.
