Dolphin Entertainment targets 3 to 4 DealMaker ventures a year

Dolphin Entertainment reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $14.4 million and outlined a goal of launching 3 to 4 DealMaker ventures annually as it launches Graviteur Studios. CEO William O'Dowd said the company still expects its first DealMaker deal in the market before the end of the year, and that it is aiming for a cadence of 3 to 4 deals a year with a longer-term vision of half a dozen to a dozen in market in 3 or 4 years. The company posted a net loss of $1.6 million, or $0.13 per share, and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $243,000, with O'Dowd attributing about $360,000 in one-time retention bonuses and another $360,000 in litigation-related legal and professional fees as temporary headwinds. O'Dowd said the company expects a real step up in profitability in the third quarter as those items roll off, and reiterated that bank debt maturing in just over two years will free up almost $2.2 million a year in principal and interest payments, while large New York and Los Angeles leases rolling off in the back half of next year will save roughly another $1 million a year. The company also acknowledged that a streaming deal for Youngblood has been delayed, with O'Dowd saying the streaming is a little disappointing and that a deal had been expected by now but has not occurred yet.
