DRT expects growth in 2026 after government supports rooftop solar
DRT or Diamond Product Public Company Limited expects its 2026 performance to grow from the previous year, which had a profit of around 317 million baht, after the government has a subsidy program for rooftop solar installation for households at 50,000 baht per household, covering 1 million households, which will be a positive factor for sales of concrete roof tiles that hold solar panels. Mr. Sathit Sudbanthad, Chief Executive Officer, said the company maintains its revenue target this year to grow around 2-3% from 2025, after the first half had a profit of around 279 million baht, while continuing to introduce construction material innovations such as uPVC AIR ROOF and MAX BLOCK lightweight concrete blocks to boost sales, and turning to target the home renovation market in the South, which was affected by floods, with current revenue proportion from this segment at around 20-30%.

DRT sees renovation demand surge, pushing repair segment revenue share to 35%
DRT expects rising demand for home improvement and repairs to lift the revenue share from the renovation segment to around 35% by the end of 2026, up from the previous 20 to 30%. This is driven by an expanding second-hand home market and demand for home extensions in the South following the major floods in Hat Yai in 2025. At the same time, the company sees an opportunity to expand its government customer base from new project investment, after starting up its second Saraburi lightweight concrete plant in late 2025 to boost production capacity for a wide range of standard and special-specification products. In addition, DRT has adjusted its pricing plan for certain product groups that use petrochemical raw materials starting from the second quarter of 2026, in order to cope with higher cement and energy costs. It still targets 2026 revenue growth of 2 to 3% from 2025, while maintaining a full-year gross margin of at least 20%.
