The company sells through distributors to drilling rig contractors, offshore service companies, governmental organizations, and oil and gas operators and producers. Formerly known as Forum Oilfield Technologies, Inc., it changed its name to Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. in August 2010, was incorporated in 2005, and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Forum Energy beats Q2 estimates and raises full-year 2026 guidance

Forum Energy Technologies reported second-quarter 2026 results that exceeded analyst expectations and raised its full-year outlook. Non-GAAP earnings per share came in at $1.16, beating the consensus estimate by $0.60, while revenue of $226.22 million, a 13.2% year-over-year increase, topped forecasts by $13.87 million. Orders reached $236 million, yielding a book-to-bill ratio of 104%, and adjusted EBITDA rose 39% sequentially to $32 million. For the third quarter, the company guided revenue between $225 million and $245 million and adjusted EBITDA of $31 million to $37 million. Full-year 2026 guidance was lifted across all metrics, with revenue now expected in the range of $870 million to $910 million, adjusted EBITDA of $115 million to $125 million, and adjusted net income of $42 million to $52 million.
