Fury Gold Mines Evacuates Eau Claire Camp as Wildfire Burns Nearby
Fury Gold Mines has evacuated all personnel from its Eau Claire camp in Northern Quebec as a precaution due to a nearby forest fire. The evacuation was carried out safely with no reported injuries, and exploration and drilling activities have been temporarily suspended. The company is monitoring the situation with local and provincial fire authorities and does not currently expect a material impact on its Phase 2 drill program at Eau Claire. CEO Tim Clark stated that the safety of people is the top priority and activities will resume as soon as it is safe.
