Formycon AG

Formycon AG is a biotechnology company that develops biosimilar drugs in Germany and Switzerland. Its products include ranibizumab and aflibercept for treating neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, choroidal neovascularization, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, and macular edema, marketed under brands such as Ranivisio, Ongavia, Cimerli, Ranopto, Uptera, Ravegza, AHZANTIVE, Baiama, and Fovlya. The pipeline includes ustekinumab for Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis under the Otulf, Fymskina, and Sitovab brands, as well as pembrolizumab for immuno-oncology diseases and FYB208 and FYB209 for immunology. Formerly Nanohale AG, it changed its name to Formycon AG in 2012, was founded in 1999, and is headquartered in Planegg, Germany.
