bitFlyer to Add Four Tokens Including Tron as Domestic Exchanges Delist Others
Crypto asset exchange bitFlyer announced on September 16 that it will begin handling four tokens — Tron, Gram, Cosmos, and XDC Network — on its sales platform. Trading will start around 1:00 p.m. on September 29, with the first purchase under its "Kantan Tsumitate" accumulation service set for September 30. Tron is a blockchain known for its strength in decentralized application development, Cosmos is a foundation for connecting different blockchains, XDC Network is a platform for business-to-business transactions such as trade finance, and Gram is the native token of The Open Network, a blockchain developed by the founders of the messaging app Telegram. The addition comes as domestic exchanges are notably consolidating their token lineups. On September 4, BitPoint announced the delisting of six tokens and SBI VC Trade three, followed on September 9 by GMO Coin announcing the delisting of three tokens.
