Fractyl Health, Inc. is a metabolic therapeutics company that develops therapies for type 2 diabetes (T2D) and obesity. Its lead product, the Revita DMR System, is an outpatient procedural therapy designed to durably modify duodenal dysfunction, a pathologic consequence of a high-fat, high-sugar diet that can initiate T2D and obesity. The company is also developing Rejuva, an adeno-associated virus-delivered pancreatic gene therapy platform intended to enable long-term remission of T2D and obesity by altering metabolic hormone function in pancreatic islet cells. Formerly Fractyl Laboratories Inc., it changed its name to Fractyl Health, Inc. on June 9, 2021, was incorporated in 2010, and is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts.
