HL confident Q3/2026 recovery, COVID boosts ATK sales

HL is confident that its Q3/2026 performance will recover from the previous quarter, after the burden of provisions and asset depreciation from the closure of 5 branches, worth 5.42 million baht, has ended. Meanwhile, consumer purchasing power is improving, and the COVID-19 outbreak is boosting sales of ATK test kits. The company is also moving forward with expanding new branches, driving this year's performance to grow over last year. Mr. Supakorn Phantukanon, Chief Executive Officer of Healthlead Public Company Limited (HL), revealed that the company is confident its operating results in Q3/2026 will improve from Q2/2026, as there will be no recognition of depreciation and provisions for asset depreciation from the closure of a total of 5 branches, worth a total of 5.42 million baht, as in the previous quarter. As a result, this Q3 will start to see better recovery. In addition, there are signs of recovery in consumer spending, which tends to improve. Meanwhile, government support factors, such as the "Thai Helps Thai Plus" project, are expected to help stimulate consumption and benefit the business in the long term. Although some consumers choose to use services from stores outside the tax system, the company views that such impact can be offset by the benefits of spending stimulus measures and should not significantly affect the overall business. Regarding the COVID-19 outbreak situation, it continues to positively impact ATK test kit sales, which have increased slightly but not as high as the previous period, as public concern has decreased. However, the company has continuously prepared products and equipment to meet customer demand in this segment. The company continues to expand branches in potential locations. Most recently, it opened a new pharmacy, iCare Phutthamonthon Sai 4, which has received good response and is expected to generate satisfactory sales. However, in Q3, HL expects to open about 1 new branch, while in Q4/2026, it is considering locations to support the opening of about 1-2 more new branches, with an investment budget of about 5 million baht per branch, focusing on the suitability of locations and revenue-generating potential. As for the full-year performance target, the company admits that its results may not meet the original target. However, it still expects that the overall business will be able to achieve growth compared to last year. It is also accelerating operational efficiency improvements while motivating the team to work at full potential under challenging goals, to drive performance for the rest of the year and build a foundation for continuous growth in the future.
