SMD100 swings to Q2 profit, up 308%

SMD Rise Public Company Limited, or SMD100, reported second-quarter 2569 results, swinging to a net profit of 28.65 million baht, up 308.21 percent from a loss of 13.76 million baht in the same quarter last year. Total revenue was 321.23 million baht, up 99.66 percent, supported by medical device and equipment sales growth of 103.06 percent, especially in sleep medicine, critical care, and radiology. Service revenue rose 72.33 percent from sleep testing services. As a result, the first half of 2569 saw its net loss narrow to 1.89 million baht from a loss of 40.23 million baht in the first half of 2568, with total revenue of 493.95 million baht, up 57.81 percent year on year. The company's backlog stood at 272.36 million baht, with critical care accounting for 43.52 percent of total backlog, followed by sleep medicine at 23.73 percent and health services at 20.10 percent.

SMD100 advances with JUMP+ to elevate business and governance, targeting profit of 80 to 120 million baht in 2028

SMD Rise, or SMD100, has joined the Stock Exchange of Thailand's JUMP+ program to enhance business potential and governance, setting a revenue growth target of 20 to 30 percent for 2026 from the previous year's revenue of approximately 922 million baht, and aiming to push net profit to 80 to 120 million baht by 2028. The company plans to increase the revenue share from sleep medicine and medical technology businesses, building a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem covering diagnosis through to services and solutions for hospitals and healthcare facilities. In addition, the company emphasizes governance enhancement through anti-corruption measures, a whistleblower system, and prevention of insider information use, which are part of the JUMP+ program that helps increase transparency and investor confidence.
