Huhtamäki reports comparable revenue growth and strong profitability in H1 2026

Huhtamäki Oyj reported comparable revenue growth and maintained strong profitability in the first half of 2026. Comparable revenue growth was 1% for the group, with reported revenue declining 3% to 1,955.8 million euros due to negative currency effects. Adjusted EBIT was 198.2 million euros, down 2% from 201.5 million euros, while the adjusted EBIT margin improved to 10.1% from 10.0%. CEO Ralf K. Wunderlich highlighted that the company improved its adjusted EBIT margin despite a challenging environment, including Middle East supply chain disruptions. The Flexible Packaging and Fiber Packaging segments drove growth, while North America faced operational challenges and lower revenue.
