HireQuest Q2 2026 revenue rises 6% to $8.1 million
HireQuest reported second quarter 2026 total revenue of $8.1 million, up 6% from $7.6 million a year earlier, with pro forma growth of 16.6% excluding divested MRI Network assets. Net income after tax was $2.7 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, compared with $1.1 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted net income was $3.2 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, and adjusted EBITDA was $4.6 million, up from $3.3 million. CEO Richard Hermanns said demand for temporary staffing improved through the quarter, with year-over-year growth accelerating from 2% to 4% early in the period to 12% to 13% in some weeks by the end, and that the company expects positive results through the balance of 2026. CFO David Hartley noted that system-wide sales were $117.8 million, down from $125.9 million, but up 6.9% pro forma for the MRI divestiture, and that the company had $41.0 million in availability on its credit facility as of June 30, 2026.
