Kavango Resources PLC

Kavango Resources has appointed Jasper Musadaidzwa as its new CEO and executive director, effective immediately. Musadaidzwa, a Zimbabwean national with over 27 years in mining, previously served as senior vice-president at AngloGold Ashanti's Guinea Business Unit, where he extended mine life from 2026 to 2034 and doubled net present value. He also managed operations in Ghana, Tanzania, Mali, and Guinea, collectively producing about 1.1 million ounces of gold annually. Following the appointment, Donald McAlister stepped down as non-executive chairman and interim CEO to become executive chairman.
