Kentucky First Federal Bancorp is the holding company for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Hazard, Kentucky, and Frankfort First Bancorp, Inc. It provides banking products and services in Kentucky, attracting deposits from the general public and using those funds to originate residential and consumer loans. Its loan portfolio includes one- to four-family, multi-family, and construction residential real estate loans; nonresidential real estate loans such as commercial office buildings, churches, and other properties; and consumer loans including home equity lines of credit, loans secured by savings deposits, automobile loans, unsecured loans, and commercial non-mortgage loans. Incorporated in 2005 and based in Hazard, Kentucky, the company operates as a subsidiary of First Federal MHC.
