Eastman Kodak Revenue Jumps 18% as Zacks Flags Watchlist Stock

Eastman Kodak Company is showing signs of an operational turnaround, with total revenues growing 18% year over year to $311 million in the latest quarter. Within that total, print revenue rose 10% year over year to $195 million, while the Advanced Materials and Chemicals segment grew revenue 40% year over year to $105 million. Gross margin expanded 700 basis points year over year to 26%, helping lift Operational EBITDA to $36 million from $9 million in the prior year, which on a pro-forma annual run-rate basis would be $144 million against an enterprise value of about $731 million. Zacks Investment Research said it remains Neutral on the stock, citing slightly negative free cash flow of about $1 million for the quarter and a need for consistent operational improvement. Zacks also flagged NeurAxis, Inc. as a watchlist stock, noting its revenue more than doubled to $1.9 million from $0.9 million a year earlier, its gross margin of 85.9%, a 28% year-over-year increase in selling price, and a widened operating loss of $2.1 million from $1.7 million, while keeping a Neutral rating on valuation, lack of operating leverage, and share dilution from its ATM.
