Marie Brizard sees sales rebound in France

Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits reported a 3% decline in first-half revenues to €84 million, but saw a sales rebound in France during the second quarter. Group revenues grew 2.2% to €45.3 million in the second quarter, driven by a 6% jump in French sales. On-trade sales in France surged 16% in the second quarter, contributing to a 10.1% increase for the first half, while off-trade sales rose 3.8% in the second quarter after a 4% first-half decline. The international division's revenue fell 5.8% in the first half, though the decline narrowed to 0.3% in the second quarter, with US sales holding up well thanks to the Marie Brizard and Gautier brands.
