Mesa Laboratories, Inc. develops, designs, manufactures, sells, and services life sciences tools and quality control products across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and other international markets. Its Sterilization and Disinfection Control segment provides biological, chemical, and cleaning indicators, as well as sterility assurance testing and laboratory services for the pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, dental, and pharmaceutical industries. The Biopharmaceutical Development segment offers automated systems for protein analysis (immunoassays) and peptide synthesis, including Gyrolab xPand, Gyrolab xPlore, PurePep Symphony, and Chorus instruments, along with related consumables. The Clinical Genomics segment provides the MassARRAY genetic analysis system and related consumables for DNA analysis in hereditary disease screening, pharmacogenetics, oncology, and toxicology research. The Calibration Solutions segment offers quality control products for measuring and calibrating critical parameters in renal care, gas flow, environmental and process monitoring, and torque testing, under brands such as DialyGuard, DryCal, DataTrace, and ViewPoint. Incorporated in 1982, Mesa Laboratories is headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado.

Mesa Laboratories targets 1.5–1.75x net leverage by fiscal 2027 exit while resetting Gyrolab launch to fiscal 2028

Mesa Laboratories is targeting a net leverage ratio of 1.5 to 1.75 times by the end of fiscal 2027, while resetting the launch of its next-generation Gyrolab platform to fiscal 2028. CEO Siddhartha Kadia said the company reprioritized its R&D portfolio to concentrate investment on this launch, and we now expect the new Gyrolab platform to launch in fiscal 2028. First-quarter revenues reached $60.1 million, with adjusted operating income up 16.5% to $15 million, or $2.61 per diluted share. The Biopharmaceutical Development segment grew 5% organically, and Kadia expects it to grow for the full year. Net leverage stood at 1.85x at quarter-end, and management reiterated a deleveraging priority while deferring full-year guidance until November.

Mesa Laboratories declares $0.16 quarterly dividend

Mesa Laboratories declared a quarterly dividend of $0.16 per share, in line with the previous payout. The dividend is payable on September 15 to shareholders of record as of August 31, with the ex-dividend date also set for August 31. The forward yield is 0.61%.
