NorthEast Community Bancorp Reports Second Quarter 2026 Net Income of $9.8 Million

NorthEast Community Bancorp reported net income of $9.8 million, or $0.75 per basic share, for the three months ended June 30, 2026, down from $11.2 million, or $0.85 per basic share, a year earlier. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, net income was $19.7 million, or $1.50 per basic share, compared to $21.7 million, or $1.65 per basic share, in the prior-year period. Total assets rose 2.5% to $2.1 billion, driven by a $59.4 million increase in net loans, while total deposits fell 5.0% to $1.5 billion as management reduced higher-cost brokered certificates of deposit. The company recorded a credit loss expense of $860,000 for both the three- and six-month periods, and asset quality remained pristine with zero non-performing assets. Stockholders' equity increased 3.1% to $362.6 million, and the Bank's tier 1 leverage capital ratio stood at 17.32%.

NorthEast Community Bancorp raises quarterly dividend to $0.25 per share

NorthEast Community Bancorp announced that its Board of Directors has declared an increased quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per common share.
