NanoViricides Inc

NanoViricides, Inc. is a clinical-stage nano-biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and commercializes drugs to combat viral infections. Its lead candidate, NV-387, targets RSV and influenza and has completed a Phase 1a/1b human clinical trial for safety and tolerability. NV-387 is also the active ingredient in COVID-19 formulations, including NV-CoV-2 Oral Syrup and NV-CoV-2 Oral Gummies, which are in Phase 1a/1b trials to enable body-weight-based dose titration for pediatric use. The company is developing NV-HHV-1 as a skin cream for Shingles rash and as an oral drug for HSV-1 cold sores and HSV-2 genital ulcers, along with other candidates in its HIVCide program for Dengue and Ebola. Incorporated in 2005, NanoViricides is headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut.

NanoViricides announces $3.8 million registered direct offering

NanoViricides has entered into a securities purchase agreement with a single institutional investor for a registered direct offering expected to generate approximately $3.8 million in gross proceeds before fees and expenses. The offering includes 2.52 million common shares or pre-funded warrants, along with accompanying warrants to purchase an additional 2.52 million shares. Each warrant has an exercise price of $1.75 per share and a 5.5-year term. The transaction is expected to close on or about July 27, 2026. Shares of NanoViricides fell 11% in premarket trading.
