Orosur Mining Hits 61.35m at 0.93g/t Gold in First El Cedro Hole

Orosur Mining Inc. announced a grassroots discovery at its El Cedro prospect within the Anzá Project in Colombia, where the first hole ever drilled on the target intersected a broad zone of gold mineralization from surface. Hole CED001 returned a composite intersection of 61.35m at 0.93g/t Au from surface, including 42.15m at 1.02g/t Au from 19m, with the final sample of the assayed interval returning 1.25g/t Au. The hole, which is currently at 130m and planned to extend to 500m by the end of the month, also entered a wide zone of polymetallic veining at roughly 99m downhole, containing pyrrhotite, pyrite, galena, sphalerite and locally chalcopyrite, with assays pending. El Cedro is one of three prospects at Anzá, alongside Pepas and APTA, and lies roughly 4km south of the APTA base camp within the Mid-Cauca gold belt west of Medellín. Samples from 61.3m to 86m were submitted for assay this week, and two more holes are planned from the same pad once CED001 is complete. CEO Brad George said real grassroots discoveries have become very rare in modern times, and that the company possibly has two so far.
