PLANET adjusts strategy to cut costs and boost recurring revenue from Cloud and Cybersecurity

Planet Communication Asia Public Company Limited, or PLANET, is moving forward with a business strategy adjustment to cope with economic volatility, focusing on cost control, risk management, and increasing the proportion of recurring revenue from digital infrastructure services such as Cloud, Data Center, and Cybersecurity. Co-Chief Executive Officer Chatsuda Benjanirat said the company will emphasize reducing and controlling costs across the entire operational chain, especially hardware costs, imports, delivery lead times, and exchange rate fluctuations, while diversifying procurement sources and technology partners to increase flexibility in equipment sourcing. At the same time, the company continues to maintain a disciplined project selection policy, thoroughly considering value for money, cost risk, delivery timelines, payment terms, and the impact on working capital, so that project acceptance aligns with the company's financial capacity and can generate appropriate returns without focusing solely on revenue growth. This strategy is part of PLANET's business restructuring from reliance on project-based revenue toward a more diversified and recurring revenue structure, which will help reduce revenue volatility, improve cash flow planning efficiency, and strengthen the long-term business foundation.
