Siamgas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries trade petroleum and petrochemical products in Thailand and internationally. It operates through three segments: Petroleum and Petrochemical Products, Transportation Services, and Other. The company trades petroleum for household cooking, industrial, and transportation use, distributes petrochemical products, and provides land and ship transportation, LPG cylinder manufacturing and distribution, oil depot and port services, and warehousing and storage. Formerly VSPP Development Company Limited, it changed its name to Siamgas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited, was founded in 2001, and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.

SGP Sets Annual Sales Target of 3.5 Million Tons, Second Half Expected to Be High Season

SGP has set its annual sales target at 3.5 million tons, having already achieved 1.7 million tons in the first half, representing 48.7% of the target. The Offshore Trading business grew notably by 42.2%, boosting total sales by 17.8% year-on-year. SGP posts record first-half profit, approves interim dividend of 0.20 baht

Siam Gas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited, or SGP, reported first-half net profit for 2026 at a new record high of 4.17 billion baht, up 1,095.8 percent from the same period last year. Second-quarter net profit was 2.63 billion baht, up 576.4 percent from a loss of 552.14 million baht in the second quarter of 2025. First-half total revenue was 45.81 billion baht, up 25.9 percent year on year, and EBITDA was 6.23 billion baht, up 479.5 percent year on year. EBITDA margin rose from 3.44 percent to 13.60 percent. Domestic LPG sales in the first half were 419,673 tonnes, up 1.0 percent year on year, while the overall market contracted 0.25 percent, giving the company a market share of more than 22 percent. Overseas LPG sales were about 1.27 million tonnes, up 24.5 percent year on year, with the offshore trading business accounting for 61 percent of overseas sales in the second quarter. The board approved an interim cash dividend of 0.20 baht per share, with the ex-dividend date set for 24 August 2026 and payment on 8 September 2026.

SGP closes deal to buy more shares in Myanmar power plant, stake reaches 46%

Siam Gas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited, or SGP, announced that its subsidiary SIAMGAS POWER PTE. LTD. has completed the acquisition of additional ordinary shares in Myanmar Lighting (IPP) Co., Ltd. As a result, its shareholding in the company has increased from 41.1 percent to 46.0 percent of the registered and paid-up capital. This additional purchase of a 4.9 percent stake was registered for shareholder change on 11 June 2026 and received approval from the investment promotion agency on 21 July 2026. Previously, SPW had completed the purchase of additional shares in Asiatech Energy Pte. Ltd. and Ruamur Pte. Ltd. in the same proportion on 13 June 2025, completing the acquisition of shares in all three power plant companies in Myanmar.
