Synectic Systems develops proprietary, technology-led solutions for specialist markets via local systems integrators and channel partners, offering a capabilities center through its Synergy software platform and specialist hardware for oil and gas markets. Ocular delivers integrated solutions, services, and support directly to end-users, primarily in public space, transport, and national infrastructure, using a mix of proprietary technology and third-party products. It serves the energy, public space, transport, leisure and hospitality, and critical infrastructure markets. The company was formerly known as Quadnetics Group plc and changed its name to Synectics plc in July 2012. Synectics plc was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in Sheffield, the United Kingdom.
