Gorilla Technology Sinks 11% Despite Doubling Revenue and Raising Guidance

Gorilla Technology Group shares fell 11% to $14.06 early Tuesday despite reporting first-half 2026 revenue of $78.4 million, up 99% year over year, and raising its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to at least $200 million. The company also guided 2027 revenue to $450 million to $500 million, which is 16% to 29% above Wall Street consensus of $386.7 million. The drop stands out because peers BigBear.ai, Evolv Technologies, Ambarella, and Palantir Technologies were all higher or flat, and the Invesco QQQ Trust ETF rose 0.8%. Gorilla reported an adjusted loss per share of $0.58 for the first half, compared with a $0.32 profit a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA swung to a loss of $14.6 million from positive $6.2 million. The company's growth path depends on installing capacity across Indonesia, Batam, and Thailand on schedule, with first services from a roughly 200-megawatt facility expected in mid-2027.

Gorilla Technology surges after signing $2.5 billion AI compute infrastructure contract

Gorilla Technology has signed a five-year AI compute infrastructure contract with a global technology customer that is expected to generate about $2.5 billion in revenue over the five years. The deployment will be at the NeutraDC Batam data centre in Indonesia, with the first phase consisting of about 1,000 Nvidia B300 GPU servers expected to generate around $1.3 billion in revenue over the same period.
