EMV Capital buys Rotterdam plastics plant; Pantheon sees 25% Kodiak uplift

EMV Capital has acquired a Rotterdam plastics recycling plant for an undisclosed price through its new subsidiary Winalot, with plans to retrofit new technology and restart operations within around 18 months. Pantheon Resources said new seismic work could lift its Kodiak oil resource estimate by at least 25%, with ten parties still active in the data room as farm-out talks continue. MP Evans Group said its rising palm oil harvest carried into the second half after a record first half, with gross profit up 25% and the interim dividend up 39%. Cerillion warned full-year revenue will fall short of expectations after customer orders were delayed, guiding to between £46 million and £48 million. Hardide landed a first production order worth around $1.9 million for its new second-generation components from a North American energy sector customer, while Touchstone Exploration mobilised a rig for a two-well drilling campaign at its WD-4 block in Trinidad, with gas output at its Cascadura field also climbing steadily.

Touchstone Exploration Begins Two-Well WD-4 Drilling Campaign in Trinidad

Touchstone Exploration Inc. has mobilized a drilling rig to begin a two-well development campaign on its WD-4 block in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, with the first well expected to spud in mid-September 2026. The two wells are commitment wells under the WD-4 Lease Operatorship Agreement, and turnkey drilling costs for the second well will be covered by the drilling contractor, reducing the Company's capital exposure. At Cascadura-2ST1 in the Ortoire block, a solvent squeeze treatment delivered promising incremental production gains, and the Company intends to deploy similar treatments across the field where appropriate during the second half of 2026, with Cascadura-3ST1 workover and Cascadura-5 recompletion planned for October 2026. The Cascadura booster compressor, which commenced operations on July 9, 2026, improved uptime availability from approximately 57 percent in July to 73 percent in August, supporting growth in average gross natural gas production from approximately 6.6 MMcf/d in June to 9.7 MMcf/d in July and 12.6 MMcf/d in August, against a targeted uptime of 97 percent. On the Central block, a coiled tubing cleanout and acid stimulation at the Carapal Ridge 3 well produced a limited production response and did not resolve reservoir damage, so the Company is preparing a completion program targeting the uphole Karamat sands, which hold approximately 82 feet of net pay between depths of 6,530 feet and 6,760 feet, with execution targeted for October 2026. July 2026 Central block natural gas volumes were sold under the Atlantic LNG Train 2/3 contract during Train 4 downtime at an estimated net-of-fees price of $10.28 per Mcf, and effective September 1, 2026, the Company amended its Central condensate marketing contract to link pricing to the Brent crude oil benchmark, replacing WTI-linked pricing. Net sales production averaged 4,402 boe/d in July 2026, while field-estimated net production averaged 4,392 boe/d in August 2026.
