AbbVie continues to raise its dividend despite market headwinds, and Wall Street analysts see the stock climbing nearly 12% from current levels. The company posted second-quarter revenue of nearly $17 billion, a 10.2% year-over-year increase, while adjusted earnings per share rose 23% to $3.65. Its immunology drugs Skyrizi and Rinvoq are expected to generate $31 billion in combined sales this year, replacing former blockbuster Humira. AbbVie also announced the acquisition of Apogee Therapeutics for $10.9 billion in cash to bolster its pipeline with the eczema treatment zumilokibart. The drugmaker is a Dividend King with 54 consecutive years of payout increases, including its time as part of Abbott Laboratories.
