Aptera Motors Corp. Class B Common StockEPA Certificate of Conformity clears a key regulatory hurdle for selling the vehicle in the US.

Aptera Motors has received a Certificate of Conformity from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for its 2026 Aptera Launch Edition vehicle, marking a key federal emissions compliance milestone. Issued on June 18, 2026, the certificate confirms the vehicle meets applicable federal emissions requirements under the Clean Air Act, a necessary step toward legal sale in the United States. The remaining primary federal requirement before customer deliveries can begin is compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards using vehicles built on Aptera’s low-volume validation assembly line. Co-CEO Steve Fambro stated that validation vehicles are already on the ground and being used to support the remaining work toward potential customer deliveries.
