B.Grimm Power Public Company LimitedNew Pool Gas structure and use of Gulf of Thailand gas could ease pressure on BGRIM's natural gas input costs.

B.Grimm Power or BGRIM believes the new Pool Gas structure has the potential to ease pressure on natural gas costs. Noppadet Kannasoot, Chief Executive Officer of businesses in Thailand, Malaysia, and industrial business solutions, said global reference gas prices remain volatile, with Henry Hub at 2.96 dollars per MMBtu, while TTF Gas in Europe stands at 71.52 euros per MWh, and JKM LNG in Asia is around 23.61–23.62 dollars per MMBtu. The government is considering the structure and pricing of the new Pool Gas round, and utilizing gas from the Gulf of Thailand, which accounts for 20-30%, would help enhance cost stability. BGRIM has surplus capacity of about 250 megawatts to serve new industrial customers in Map Ta Phut and Ang Thong. It is also advancing the Nakwol 1 offshore wind power project in South Korea with a capacity of 365 megawatts, expected to reach COD within 2026, and a Hyperscale Data Center project with 96 megawatts capacity, valued at 26 billion baht, in Chonburi, which is over 45% complete and set for partial opening in late 2026, with a target to expand to 300 megawatts by 2030. Additionally, there are the Zhongce Rubber project with 35 megawatts and Huong Hoa 1 with 48 megawatts. The company is also restructuring its four business units to support PDP 2026 and preparing for SMR technology through European and Chinese partners.
