Clean Energy Fuels Corp has secured contracts to design and install liquefied natural gas fuel systems for two power projects in Puerto Rico, marking its first LNG infrastructure supply agreements in the unincorporated US territory. The projects total 10 megawatts and include a 6-megawatt combined heat and power plant for PR Energy Partners' luxury residential and hotel operations, as well as LNG station equipment and installation for an unnamed international healthcare manufacturer's local pharmaceutical operations. The company said the agreements represent an expansion of its LNG infrastructure offering to a new customer base in Puerto Rico.
