Everest Medicines LtdEverest signs exclusive license for late-stage kidney disease drug DMX-200, expanding its renal pipeline.

Everest Medicines has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Dimerix to develop and commercialize DMX-200 across Asia-Pacific. The deal focuses on treating serious kidney diseases such as focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, an area with significant unmet medical need. DMX-200 is already in a pivotal Phase 3 trial for that condition, giving Everest access to a late-stage program that fits its existing nephrology focus and regional commercial infrastructure. The agreement expands Everest's renal pipeline, which already includes LNZ100, Nefecon, MT1013, and EVER001, reinforcing a multi-asset approach in kidney disease therapies. Everest's shares stood at HK$26.68 at the time of the announcement, down 29.6% year to date.
