Ferrari NVBacklash to Ferrari's first EV launch, the Luce, with criticism and comparisons to Nissan Leaf, leading to 5% share drop.

Ferrari has ousted its marketing chief Enrico Galliera following intense backlash to the launch of its first electric vehicle, the Luce. Galliera, a 16-year veteran, has been replaced by Massimiliano Di Silvestre, formerly BMW's head of Italian operations. The €550,000 Luce drew widespread criticism and comparisons to Nissan's mass-market Leaf, with former chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo saying it "risks destroying the myth" of Ferrari. Shares fell 5% on the Milan Stock Market after the unveiling. Chief Executive Benedetto Vigna thanked Galliera for his contributions and defended the Luce, stating it has nothing to do with other EVs and must be seen and driven to be understood.
