Soficitinib met primary endpoint in Phase II vitiligo study with significant efficacy and good safety.

InnoCare's self-developed next-generation highly selective oral TYK2 inhibitor soficitinib has successfully met the primary endpoint in the Phase II stage of a Phase II/III adaptive clinical trial for patients with non-segmental vitiligo. Data at week 24 showed that the facial vitiligo area scoring index decreased by 38.8 percent from baseline in the once-daily 80 milligram dose group, by 41.2 percent in the 120 milligram dose group, and by 2.2 percent in the placebo group, with statistically significant differences. The treatment was well tolerated and no new safety signals were identified.
