Innoviz Technologies sees a potential opportunity of more than 150,000 LiDAR units from Mobileye's newly announced vertically integrated robotaxi business. Mobileye plans to deploy an initial fleet of approximately 100 vehicles in a major U.S. city in 2027, scaling to approximately 17,000 vehicles over the following five years. The current configuration of the Mobileye Drive platform integrates nine InnovizTwo LiDARs per vehicle, providing 360-degree coverage. Innoviz CEO Omer Keilaf said the decision reflects the maturity of the platform and confidence in the full technology stack.
