Lucid Group IncMissed delivery estimates and suspended 2026 production forecast indicate weak demand.

Lucid Group missed second-quarter delivery estimates and named Alexander De Bock as its new finance chief, the latest executive shakeup at the struggling electric-vehicle maker since it appointed a new CEO in April. De Bock, formerly finance chief of TI Automotive, replaces Taoufiq Boussaid, who had held the role since January 2025 and will depart after the second-quarter earnings release. The company also named Raja Ramana Macha as its new chief technology officer, following last week's departure of Chief Operating Officer Marc Winterhoff, who had served as interim CEO for more than a year before Silvio Napoli took over in April. Lucid delivered 3,953 vehicles and produced 4,774 in the second quarter, falling short of Visible Alpha analysts' estimates of 4,618 deliveries and 5,280 units produced. The company suspended its 2026 production forecast in May and has cut its workforce twice this year as it seeks to conserve cash amid supplier disruptions and a shortage of raw materials.
