Micron Technology IncUBS raised price target to $1,500, a 31% premium, ahead of earnings.

Investors face a busy week headlined by Micron Technology's earnings on Wednesday and the release of May PCE inflation data on Thursday. Micron's results will offer a key read on memory-chip demand, with UBS analyst Melissa Weathers raising the price target to $1,500 per share, a roughly 31% premium over Thursday's close. The PCE figures, the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge, follow hotter-than-expected consumer and producer price readings for May and come after the Fed signaled a hawkish hold, with markets now pricing a greater than 70% chance of a quarter-point rate hike by October. Other earnings include Cerebras Systems on Tuesday and FedEx and Darden Restaurants later in the week. Meanwhile, national average gas prices fell below $4 per gallon to $3.99, driven by a roughly 13% drop in Brent crude over five sessions after a US-Iran memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the conflict and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
