Morgan Stanley initiated coverage of SpaceX on Tuesday with an Overweight rating and a $300 price target, the most bullish call among major investment banks as the company joins the Nasdaq 100 index. Lead analyst Adam Jonas sees 87% upside from Monday's close, framing SpaceX as holding an 'X of 1' position in space infrastructure with near-monopoly launch economics, the world's largest LEO satellite network, and a fast-scaling AI infrastructure business. The firm projects revenue surging from $45 billion this year to $319 billion in 2030 and $3.3 trillion by 2040, with operating margins approaching 59%, though the target depends on inventing entirely new markets. Other banks have also initiated coverage, with Wells Fargo at $230, UBS at $210, Goldman Sachs at $205, Citi at $200, and Bernstein at $239. SpaceX's Nasdaq 100 debut under a fast-entry rule could drive up to $4.3 billion in inflows, according to JPMorgan.
