Morgan Stanley launches new ETFs, expanding its crypto product offerings and potentially increasing fee revenue.

Morgan Stanley launched new spot crypto ETFs for Ethereum and Solana on July 28, following its Bitcoin ETF debut in April. Both ETFs carry a 0.14% expense ratio, lower than the 0.20% to 0.25% typical of most Bitcoin ETFs, and integrate staking with 95% of rewards passed to shareholders. The firm’s more than 16,000 financial advisors can now offer these products, potentially broadening crypto access in tax-advantaged retirement accounts. The launches come amid a crypto bear market, but signal growing institutional acceptance of digital assets.
