E*TRADE, the online brokerage platform under Morgan Stanley, has completed the full rollout of spot cryptocurrency trading for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The trading fee is 0.50% of the transaction amount, making it the lowest in the industry, undercutting Coinbase's 60 basis points, Charles Schwab's 75 basis points, and Robinhood's 95 basis points or more. Leveraging a trading infrastructure built through a partnership with crypto infrastructure provider Zero Hash, customers can buy, sell, and hold assets in a linked Zero Hash account and view their portfolio alongside traditional assets. Transfer functionality is planned for launch within 2026.
