Nordex SENordex secured a larger, cheaper ESG-linked guarantee facility with improved terms, reflecting turnaround completion and bank confidence.

The Nordex Group has concluded a new ESG-linked syndicated multi-currency guarantee facility with a total volume of EUR 2,475 million. The facility carries a five-year maturity and improved terms, including a material reduction in interest rates on a like-for-like basis, providing a larger and more cost-efficient financing framework from 2026 to 2031. It was arranged with the support of three lead banks—Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI CIB Division, and UniCredit Bank GmbH—and is backed by commitments from a total of 15 financial institutions. Chief Financial Officer Dr. Ilya Hartmann said the refinancing marks the completion of the company's holistic turnaround and reflects banking partners' confidence in Nordex's business development and long-term prospects.
